AGM and end of season awards

Okay its the time we all know and love, a time to rejoice in our own achievements and revel in everyone elses failings.

Yup, its the AGM.

This years AGM is being held at its usual venue, of Steve’s house. For those who don’t know where it is, or more likely can’t remember, its 35 Stirling Road, Clapham North (it’s Stockwell really), and the nearest tubes are Stockwell (Northern/Victoria line) and Clapham North (Northern Line). Here’s a handy map.

We’ll be kicking off early to watch Paraguay beat the land of barely supressed hatred towards Germany/obsession with the Wars, as it’s their first game of the World Cup (which Brazil will win).

The plan is to get round to Steve’s for about 1ish and be battered by end of the game, and then its the awards…

So you need to get your thinking caps on for:

• Player of the season
• Goal of the season
• Most improved player of the season – the ‘you used to be shit but now your not’ award)
• Miss of the season – like we need to vote for this
• And finally, the greatest award of them all, the Dave Bruce Memorial Gay of the season award.

We’ll also have a keepy uppy competition where there will be a strict four can minimum for entry.

The eagle eyed amongst you will notice the absence of a key candidate from the above list, but we are still trying to coax statements from traumatised witnesses

Oh, and there’s a threpennybit-head from O’Flynn against PA that we don’t have as well.
